With picassa you have to download software which scans your hard drive for photos which I wasn’t particularly keen on as my home computer has hundreds of photos and work computer has very few photos. I downloaded software but chose not too proceed with uploading photos. I found uploading into flickr much more user friendly and less invasive. Picassa does allow you to touch up photos which is probably a good feature. It also took me a while to set up google account as I had a previous account I had forgotten about so I wasted a fair bit of time sorting that out.
