I am already familiar with Google Books as we have links to individual titles from our catalogue. In fact I showed it to a student the other day when I was on the desk. The library copy was on loan but we managed to get enough information from the pages we were able to view for the assignment. There are quite a few treasures on Google Books I had a look at one of the books from the Oxford Library which had been digitized and it was the first edition of Jane’s Austin’s Emma published in 1816.
